Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Government troubleshooters never work. So why do they keep trying one might ask? Next up on the agenda for the latest idiotic thing statists and governmentalists have come up with must be the American bailout with the takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the Federal National Mortgage Association and the Federal Home Mortgage Corporation.

Problem is that the root to the problem in the first case is governmental intervention. First the government subsidized the industry and then after the industry crashes, government bails it out!  The one factor that never changes is:  the taxpayers lose …

The result is clear; there are so many ordinary people today struggeling with their mortgages and merely putting food on the table, while being forced to suffer under an unfair tax burden. I can tell them one thing; protectionism and nationalizations will never put food on any table – unless you’re a politician.
