This is one of my favorite parts of the speech I think. In this part, the learning that collectivism IS evil is the core. An important thing also to remember is that this being presented AFTER the word “sacrifice” has been described and dealt with. It is no coincidence! One could say that collectivism – in all forms – is the product of sacrifice. Collectivism would not exist if no man or woman was willing to sacrifice himself or herself for some “greater good”. In order for evil to exist good men must empower the evil men to power. Remember that.
Is there a higher power? I don’t know, but I have been asking this question for ages. God or Goddess or Gods, do they exist? I don’t know – none of us do. Freedom to think is what we have and what matters – solely. To do as we please is the ultimate achievement of man. The “sacrifice” makes us a slave to that someone accepting the sacrifice …

Fan vad värdelös blogg du har, lägg ner. Det säger jag som högerliberal!

Fred!
Carl, some of your readers are patently mannerless! (or perhaps merely lack discernment?
)
“Freedom to think is what we have and what matters – solely. To do as we please is the ultimate achievement of man. The “sacrifice” makes us a slave to that someone accepting the sacrifice …”
Have you considered that the “freedom to think” you perceive you have, just may not exist?
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
I put it to you that you are already a slave to your sinful nature, and as such do not have the freedom to “think your way” to a better world.
“We know that the law is spiritual*; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”
*speaking of the law of God and a man’s inability to fulfill it simply as an act of his own will or thought: we are dead in sin.
Do you never get even a sneaking suspicion that you could be missing something? A hint of a whiff of the possibility that you were created by God and as such, will have to answer to Him? Have you not ever had a tiny, tiny spark of fear at the thought of one day meeting God?

“Hi:
Two things
1) I’d like your permission to (re)print your article on Fareed Zakaria for our website
2) I was hoping we could use your ‘scribing’ talent for our website.
The Best Shows Youre Not Watching (dot) com [all one word]
‘The Clone Wars’ is one of our featured shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.
What’s in it for you?
Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think.
Thanks
