This is the first YouTube chapter of the “This Is John Galt Speaking”- speech, in which the philosopher Ayn Rand deliver her ideology and belief. The speech itself is about a vast amount of pages and is quite heavy to read. But thanks to YouTube, capitalism, and enthusiasts like myself, even the illiterate can now enjoy the wisdoms of John Galt.
It is in this first chapter the question “Who is John Galt?” is answered. John Galt is a man disgusted that non-productive members of society use laws and guilt to leech from the value created by productive members of society. Why are the most productive people leaving their work and disappearing from society?
In this first section (stretching throughout some more YouTube chapters), Galt presents the moral code of reason and individualism (The Morality of Life) that the producers embrace.
The central theme in this YouTube chapter is the moral crisis (“You have heard it said that this is an age of moral crisis.”). This is an age of moral crisis, brought about by the doctrine of Sacrifice (!!).

John Galt is self righteous. As are all of the other industrialists who abandoned the world. The moochers’ sense of entitlement is wrong as well. The moochers lack praise, and the industrialists lack courtesy.
In America, some people should not be allowed to breed, but they do. Do you expect that imbred idiots can create anything but an out-house or a coon trap? I know some, and they can’t. Everyone was not born with connected dots, and many don’t have the tools to connect those dots.
I agree that self sacrifice is not OK, and I am for ownership and personal responsibility, which goes both ways, it means that I also cannot seek entitlement, which I don’t, nor care to.
I just think there must be other alternatives than genocide for renegogiation.
