That the European Union has completely lost its ways and is now a Union for protectionists and border-huggers is nothing new. The next example to add to the file however is the EU subsidizing million of euros to support Swedish (!!) oyster-farming. From 2011 is it meant that Sweden will be able to have its own oyster-farming business.
