The traffic spikes when you write a little 'social slander/gossip' about the Hiltons etc.. In South African Blogging, there are 2 things that pull the masses - Sport, namely Rugby and Porn/Nudity/you get the idea. Getting traffic is easy.. you just have to lower your standards. However, with that said - i'd rather have 10 IPs that keep coming back and taking part in your blog than 1.2 mill hits with avg times of 30secs on your site, spent looking for hot little blonde teens so that they can wank one off..
